Using Cramium
Cramium is an educational platform that helps learners turn lectures, notes, and related source material into study guides and question sets. Cramium is intended for learning and exam preparation, not for clinical diagnosis, treatment, patient care, emergency use, or other high-stakes decision-making.
By using Cramium, you agree to use the service only for lawful educational or internal study purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the platform, other users, or third-party services that support the product.
Accounts and Access
You may access Cramium using supported sign-in providers such as Google or GitHub. You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and for any activity that occurs under it.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe the account is being used in violation of these terms, in a way that threatens the platform, or in a way that creates legal or security risk.
Your Content and Generated Output
You are responsible for the files, notes, and other material you upload or paste into Cramium. Only submit material you are authorized to use and authorized to process through cloud and AI-enabled services.
Cramium uses automated systems and third-party AI/model providers to process submitted material and generate study output such as guides, question sets, flashcards, and related study artifacts.
You retain ownership of your source material. You also retain rights you may have in the study artifacts generated from your material, subject to any rights of third-party content already contained in the source. You grant Cramium the limited rights needed to host, process, and transform that material to provide the service.
Cramium does not use your uploads or generated study artifacts to train machine learning models for its own products. AI processing is limited to operating the features you request, as described further in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Cramium to upload unlawful, infringing, malicious, abusive, or security-harming material, nor to attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, overload, or misuse the platform or its underlying services.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Cramium and any generated output complies with the AI-use rules, policies, and expectations that apply to you, including those from your school, program, instructor, exam body, employer, and institution.
Only submit material you are authorized to use and authorized to process through cloud and AI-enabled services. You may not rely on the service for medical, legal, emergency, or other high-stakes decision-making.
Subscriptions, Billing, and Changes
Some parts of Cramium may be offered for free, while others may require a paid subscription. Paid billing, renewals, and customer management are handled through Stripe or a successor billing provider.
Fees for paid Scholar subscriptions are non-refundable once a charge succeeds: for monthly billing, for that monthly period; for annual billing, for the full prepaid subscription term. You may cancel at any time through your account or billing portal to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current monthly period or any unused portion of an annual term, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may change pricing, features, limits, or plan structure over time. Material pricing changes will apply prospectively and, where appropriate, be reflected in the billing system tied to your account.
Disclaimers and Liability
Cramium is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without guarantees that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or mismatched to course expectations, and you must review it against your own source material before relying on it. We do not warrant that generated educational content will be complete, correct, or aligned with any particular exam blueprint.
Cramium is intended for learning and exam preparation, not for clinical diagnosis, treatment, patient care, emergency use, or other high-stakes decision-making. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to use any generated output.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cramium and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or data-loss damages arising from your use of the service. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
You may stop using Cramium at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if required to protect the platform, comply with law, address abuse, or enforce these terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and payment obligations already incurred, will continue to apply after access ends.
